website devoted to providing the latest deals and coupons to
consumers, recently donated two thousand one hundred fifty
dollars to Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation at the
Starlight Golf Classic & Auction on August 25, 2008 in Newcastle
Washington.
Alex’s Coupons was launched by Todd & Andrea Martini in October
1999 to raise money for their daughter Alexandra’s medical
treatment. Alex was diagnosed with Leukemia in November 1998 at
the age of 10 months and underwent life saving Cord Blood
Transplants in 1999 and 2003. Now that Alex has completed
treatment, the Martinis have instituted a charitable donation
program using some of the proceeds from Alex’s Coupons.
"Alex’s Coupons has grown from a small site providing a little
bit of extra income to one of the most successful coupon sites
on the Internet" said co-founder Todd Martini. "The success of
Alex’s Coupons has obviously far exceeded our expectations and
has enabled us to realize a dream of ours, giving back to the
charities who supported us during Alex’s treatment." In addition
to Alex’s Coupons, the Martinis are very involved in activism
and fundraising on behalf of several cancer related charities,
including Starlight Children's Foundation.
"We are very grateful that the Martinis are able to help us
brighten the lives of other seriously ill children in Washington
State," said Michelle Worden, board president. "The Martini

lightened for each member through Starlight’s innovative
