Well we finally have some good news on the housing front. A few days after we dropped the price
of our house to $439,500, we sold it to an anesthesiologist from San Diego. We'll be closing July 15th and have to be completely moved out by July 18th. We don't have a new house to move into yet, but we have arranged for a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment in Gig Harbor while we continue looking. There's only one problem, we have no place for our two dogs since they only allow one small pet in the apartment complex. We'll be able to take our cat (Katie), but we need to find a place for the dogs. Please contact me if you know of anyone who can board our dogs for a few months while we find a new house. Not sure what we'll do if we can't find someone to take them. I don't think we can hide them in a 2 bedroom apartment!
Alex started swimming lessons today at the local pool and just like us she's a water rat. We've signed her up for ten lessons over the next two weeks and hopefully by the end of that time she'll be able to swim a little. The apartment complex where we'll be living this summer has a pool and we're hoping to get a lot of use out of it.
We still haven't received the results of the bone marrow cytogenetics, but they don't always contact us if things are clear. At least for the moment, no news is good news. She'll have her next bone marrow aspirate and blood test on July 19th. That week is shaping up to be a very busy one for us!
Well other than selling our house, packing everything up, moving to an apartment, finding a new house and moving into a new house, it looks like it will be a quiet summer! Things are never boring around here. <grin>
Thanks again to all of you for 3 1/2 years of love, support and
Todd, Andrea and Alex
