    The Carolinas Cord Blood Bank (CCBB) opened in January 1998. Three hospitals, Duke University Medical Center (DUMC), Durham Regional and UNC Hospitals, are collection centers, and they make up the Carolinas Cord Blood Bank. These hospitals are located in Durham and Chapel Hill North Carolina. The units of umbilical cord blood that are collected at these locations are processed and banked at Duke University Medical Center.

  • The St. Louis Cord Blood Bank at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital /Saint Lou
    The St. Louis Cord Blood Bank is a nonprofit organization that collects and stores umbilical cord blood to help treat cancer, blood and immune diseases. Blood is collected from hospitals in a 150-mile radius around St. Louis.

  • UCLA Umbilical Cord Blood Bank
    A public cord blood bank whose purpose is to support bone marrow transplants by banking cord blood from a variety of ethnic groups. They have full-time education and collection staff located at a number of Los Angeles-area hospitals including: UCLA Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Daniel Freeman Medical Center and Garfield Medical Center.
